Munea Terms of Use

What Munea is

Munea is a companionship, reminder, and safety-referral tool for families. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Follow the advice of qualified clinicians and pharmacists for health and medication decisions. In an emergency, contact your local emergency service immediately.

Munea's AI and virtual companions

Munea companions are AI-powered virtual characters. The talking face and voice in Chat are AI-generated virtual imagery and synthetic speech. They are not a real person or a member of your family and must not be used to impersonate any real person.

AI responses may be incomplete or incorrect. Munea is designed to avoid intentional fabrication, but important health, financial, and legal decisions should be confirmed with a qualified professional or trusted family member.

Munea companions do not provide medical advice or interpret medical reports, lab values, or diagnostic images. When you describe symptoms, a companion may listen, encourage appropriate care, and help you organize questions for a clinician.

Accounts and family care circles

An account can invite family members into a care circle. Each member's access is limited by the account holder's consent and assigned permissions. Raw conversations are not shared with family members by default; only authorized status and care summaries are shared. Minors may join only through a parent or legal guardian.

Subscriptions and credits

Voice and avatar calls use credits. When available credits are exhausted, a new call cannot start until credits are added or the plan allowance renews. Current plans, prices, included allowances, renewal terms, and purchased-credit terms are shown in the App's Subscriptions & Credits page and in Apple's purchase sheet.

Protecting older adults and honest billing

Munea is designed for older adults. We will not exploit age, cognitive decline, distress, or vulnerability to induce unwanted purchases or actions. The App must show prices, renewal terms, cancellation steps, and remaining credits clearly before a purchase or call.

Acceptable use

Do not use Munea for unlawful activity, impersonation, abuse, or attempts to obtain medical procedures or other professional instructions the service is not designed to provide. Material service changes will be disclosed in the App or through an appropriate notice.

Open-source software and notices

Parts of Munea's virtual-character technology use open-source or open-weight components, including SoulX-FlashHead (Apache License 2.0), LTX-Video VAE (LTXV Open Weights License, © Lightricks), wav2vec2, and MediaPipe (Apache License 2.0). Required notices and license terms remain available with the product.
